Horseback Riding
Got a budding equestrian in your group? Book a trip to Indian Grove Riding Stables! You’ll see nature from a new perspective as you ride through the beautiful Osoyoos countryside. Guided tours are available as well as children’s rides in the corral.
Desert Park provides a nearby location for horse boarding, training, and events. The park’s Sun Hills Riding Centre rescues horses and provides guests with trail riding opportunities, as well as horse clinics and riding lessons. You’ll love riding through the scenic surrounding area, past mountains, lakes, and vineyards.
Museums & Exhibits
The Osoyoos Museum is an exciting and educational stop where you can learn more about the rich history of the area. Check with the museum to inquire about guided historical tours during the summer. You can also stroll around the town of Osoyoos and discover the seven heritage signs located at significant buildings and sites!
Stretch Your Legs
Experience the beautiful Osoyoos townsite and surrounding area with an afternoon stroll. The Market on Main provides an ideal opportunity to see the town and experience the best the South Okanagan has to offer. This weekly farmer and artisan market showcases local produce, preserves, jewelry, crafts, and more.
For a day of adventure and fun, plan a trip to Rattlesnake Canyon, our town’s adventure park! The hours will fly past as you enjoy mini-golf, Go Karts, bumper boats, and more exciting attractions. Commemorate your trip with a set of matching family tattoos. (Don’t worry, they’re temporary!)
A Day at the Races
For an unusual vacation activity, join the cheering crowds at the WCRA’s drag races! Here you see exciting legal races on the outdoor track at the Richter Pass Motorplex. The ⅛ mile side-by-side races are exciting to watch (bring a lawn chair or blanket) and even more fun to drive in!
The nearby Area 27 offers the incredible opportunity of Kartplex racing! High performance Arrive + Drive race karts feed your need for speed in a safe, enjoyable manner. Kids 8 and up can enjoy Arrive + Drive rentals.
