Osoyoos Lake: You’re Getting Warmer… Warmer
Osoyoos Lake is Canada’s warmest fresh water lake which makes for some pretty extraordinary vacation memories. Watermark Beach Resort is perfectly situated for your choice of water play. Not only does the lake play a very important role as a main focal point to our scenic backdrop, it is also an important player in all there is to do here at Watermark and in Osoyoos. At Watermark, we offer SUP board and kayak rentals and lessons. But there is so much more to play with. Take a look below at a few of our partners in pleasure that provide boats, jet skis and lessons.
Dip your toes, soak your soul, splash your kids, ride a wave, or a paddle board or a kayak, or go for a spin. Test the water for yourself, you’ll be glad you did.
Enjoy the view, enjoy the beach, enjoy the water sports. Here are a few of the ways you can enhance your vacation on Osoyoos Lake:
Let us start you on the right path or take your riding to the next level. We offer wakeboarding and other water sports packages that include a 2011 Malibu Wakesetter, professional coach, boards, skis, vests and even the gas. Maybe you just want a hassle-free alternative to renting a boat; there is no better way to experience Osoyoos Lake than with Wakepilot no matter what skill level. Join us for an hour or two, or seriously elevate your riding and come out to one of our all-inclusive “Flight School” camps. Our coaches have the skill and experience to ensure you have a safe and successful experience in sunny Osoyoos.
No vacation to sunny Osoyoos is complete without a day on the lake. Rent one of our ski/wakeboard or pontoon boats and equipment for your own adventure with family and friends.
Located on the shores of Osoyoos Lake in the NK’MIP RV Park, Spirit Beach Watersports offers the Okanagan’s largest rental fleet of speedboats, jet skis, pontoon boats and much more. The on-site Cantina is a beachside patio serving casual Mexican-style fare. Open seasonally from May to September.
Each summer the Lake Osoyoos Sailing Club offers Learn to Sail courses, designed by the Canadian Yachting Association, for persons 10 years of age and older. The courses offered include White Sail 1, 2 and 3. Taught by a certified instructor, the courses take 15 hours to complete and are usually scheduled in three-hour daily lessons that run Monday to Friday. For those hesitant to sign up for a week’s course, the club also offers a 3-hour Introduction to Sailing class that occurs concurrently with the courses, provided space is available.
