Executive Chef Nick Atkins;
Honouring Local Flavours
Executive Chef Nick Atkin’s passion for food led him to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, where he earned distinction as the youngest student in his culinary program. As his career progressed, he accepted a position as sous chef on a large-scale catering team and he also worked as a food stylist for several film productions, transforming plated meals into camera-ready art.
After moving to the Okanagan in 2016, Chef Atkins accepted the position of Executive Chef at the Restaurant at Watermark – now 15 Park Bistro – where he brings only the freshest regional ingredients to his dishes and thoughtfully curates each menu item to reflect what’s in season. Through this approach, he fulfills his promise to commit to sustainable practices that benefit our local community and beyond. With Chef Atkins leading the charge you can expect excellent service, considerate portions, and plates that are as beautifully arranged as they are exquisitely flavourful.
