With deep roots in the hospitality industry, Ryan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Having honed his skills in food & beverage, sales, marketing and leadership from a young age, Ryan kicked off his career in the hotel industry. Ryan’s career and skill set later took him to the real estate sector, where he excelled as an award-winning realtor and later as a managing broker and area manager in Central Toronto. Seeking a change, Ryan and his partner saw an opportunity during the pandemic to reset and relocate to the South Okanagan. “Our move to the Okanagan started with a Google search to find the warmest and driest part of Canada,” Ryan recalled fondly. “We’ve travelled extensively, but somehow never visited the South Okanagan. We came here for seven days, and we just fell in love with the region. Osoyoos certainly earns its place as Canada’s warmest welcome.” Ryan, who is also the current President of the South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce, brings a wealth of experience to his new role as Director of Sales and Marketing at Watermark Beach Resort. With over 25 years of experience in operations, advertising, marketing, and sales, Ryan’s credentials make him a natural fit for the position.
