Our Cook Associate position includes responsibilities such as working closely with Chef Atkins to prepare a variety of ingredients, sauces, and baked goods, prep and maintain all supplies and ingredients and keep work areas sanitized and clean. We are looking to expand our Front Desk team with an Okanagan job position that is suited for an individual who is empathic, friendly, and detail orientated. Responsibilities for the Front Desk Associate position include managing nightly hotel operations, handling the arrival and departures of our guests, and assisting our guests with their requests and/or concerns. This candidate will consistently offer professional and engaging service to our guests, ensuring to react to issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring that concerns are resolved with a positive outcome. We are looking for a professional who can develop strong guest relationships to maintain and foster Watermark loyalty and success.
In addition to our front desk position we are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, friendly, and welcoming! Join our team and apply for our Bell Attendant position. The primary role of this position is to be the first welcoming face our guests are greeted by, and the last person who bids them farewell as they leave. As the first point of contact for our guests it is paramount that this candidate is warm, welcoming and possesses the outstanding ability to make our guests feel like they are a part of the family from the moment they step foot inside our doors! The right candidate will excel in this position by having a genuine interest in providing our guests with insider information about the Okanagan and Osoyoos with the expertise of a local, and can also provide guests with general assistance on parking, directions, and other inquiries. There may also be instances where our bell attendant will be required to assist guests with unloading and delivering their luggage to their rooms and/or vehicles.
Maintenance and Housekeeping
Our maintenance and housekeeping team is looking to add to the team! The available positions include a full-time Maintenance Associate, a full-time Housekeeping Associate, a House Person position and a Room Attendant position. The responsibilities for these positions include the upkeep, maintenance, and sanitation of all Watermark Facilities. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in accordance with Covid-19 safety standards and protocols and will be able to withstand walking, kneeling and operating machinery such as carpet steamers and washing machines. Our house person is a key member of our housekeeping department. The primary duty of the House Person is the timely cleaning and preparation of our lobby, halls and other public and staff areas. Our room attendants are also key members of our housekeeping team. Their primary duty is the timely cleaning and preparation of our suites for the arrival of our guests. Together Maintenance and Housekeeping work hand-in-hand to comply with our new sanitation standards and are a key component in keeping our doors open.
