Our local hotspot (or should we say winter paradise) is Baldy Mountain Resort. The hill is the third-highest ski elevation in Canada, with a summit of 2,310m and a ski lift that services up to 2,123m. This local gem is a great place to spend the day skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing.
For Nordic enthusiasts, the McKinney Nordic Ski Club is the place to be, with over 9 km of well-groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails, gliding through BC’s stunning rolling mountains. Trail use is by donation and the perfect place to get a breath of fresh air.
