Similkameen Winery in the International Spotlight

At Watermark, we know how fortunate we are to be in such a magnificent part of the world.

BC’s Interior is a veritable Garden of Eden! Stunning landscapes, sustainably-grown and abundant produce, and, of course, world-class wines are part of our everyday, around here. We’re lucky to be in the heart of it all, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to showcase our talented neighbours, too!

We’ve just learned that our friends at Clos du Soleil Winery have been making waves around the world with their delicious wines.

At the recent Decanter World Wine Awards (considered “the Olympics of wine” within the industry), this Similkameen winery came home with three silver medals. Their 2016 Capella, 2014 Signature, and 2013 Estate Reserve Red were all recognized as champions.

Bravo!

The Similkameen and Okanagan Valleys each boast unique and excellent terroirs and phenomenal wines. It’s passionate, innovative winemakers like the folks at Clos du Soleil that help BC’s global reputation to grow. The Similkameen Independent Winegrowers collective is comprised of 12 wineries and cideries. The Okanagan Valley is home to more than 120 more.

We are ready to welcome the world to this incredible region!
