A perfect pairing.

Watermark has partnered with Similkameen Independent Winegrowers to sponsor the 2018 Devour! Osoyoos festival.

We’re so excited to work with such dedicated and talented producers: winegrowers, orchardists, winemakers and cidermakers.

Together, we celebrate the very best of food, wine (and cider!), and film in this feast for the body and the soul.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The members of Similkameen Independent Winegrowers know that working together can produce beautiful results.

Dramatic mountains, verdant hillsides, and a glistening, winding river herald the Similkameen. This small and unassuming valley in BC’s interior is full of surprises! Tucked along the rocky slopes are lush, well-tended orchards, vineyards, and farms. The Similkameen Valley has long produced succulent, beautiful fruit, including some of North America’s finest vinifera grapes. More than 700 acres of the Similkameen’s unique soil is now dedicated to growing world-class wine grapes. Accordingly, many winemakers have planted their own roots in this valley, and are creating award-winning and sought-after British Columbia wines.

With a shared passion for excellence, local growers and producers have come together to work toward a common goal: creating distinctive wines and ciders that have a place on the world stage. Blessed with a terroir that infuses the grapes with identifiable character and delicate, complex flavours, the Similkameen Independent Winegrowers know that they have something special in their hands. They want the world to know it, too.

While each maintaining high standards of quality and their own unique styles and flavour profiles, the ten member wineries are working together to help raise the bar among winemakers around the globe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The beautiful Similkameen Valley is only 20 minutes from Osoyoos and Watermark. Our concierge can happily recommend winery and cidery tours that will showcase the incredible bounty of the region.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Learn more about the Similkameen Independent Winegrowers and their little slice of paradise.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
