Osoyoos Farmers’ Market: A Year-Round Tradition

The outdoor market season has its own magic. Sunny Saturday mornings on Main Street, the smell of fresh bread and the buzz of a town that knows how to gather. But Osoyoos winters have their own rhythm too, and when the cold rolls in off the lake, the Osoyoos Farmers’ Market doesn’t stop. It simply moves indoors.

During the colder months, this community event moves indoors for monthly events and Watermark is proud to host it when possible.

Made Local, Sold Local, Loved Local

The Osoyoos Farmers’ Market has been a cornerstone of the community since 2006. Run entirely by volunteers and proudly part of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets, the market operates on a simple principle: everything sold is made local or grown locally.

During the warmer months, you’ll find the market at Town Hall Square on Main Street, rain or shine. The indoor season keeps that momentum going through the quieter months, so vendors keep selling and locals keep connecting long before the outdoor season returns.

A Vibrant Indoor Market In Osoyoos

The Watermark Ballroom transforms into something genuinely special monthly on market days. Tables line the room with the full range of what this region produces: sourdough loaves and house-made soups, local wines, ciders and spirits, seasonal preserves and fresh produce, handmade soaps and body care, photography, jewelry crafted from vintage silverware and one-of-a-kind woodwork. It feels less like a market and more like the community deciding to spend a Saturday morning together.

Vendors who set up here are the same faces you’ll see on Main Street come spring. Small producers and makers who pour real care into what they bring to the table. And the people who come out for market day are not just shoppers. They are regulars. They know the vendors by name, they come back every time and they are a big part of what makes this market worth celebrating through every season.

Markets & Other Events At Watermark Beach Resort

Watermark Loves To Support Local

As a proud Osoyoos community supporter, Watermark Beach Resort loves to host events that bring people together. When the Ballroom is available and the market needs a home, Watermark is happy to open its doors. That commitment to showing up for the community has been part of what makes Watermark more than just a place to stay.

The resort sits steps from Osoyoos Lake in the heart of downtown, and the market is just one of the ways it connects to the town around it. If you are planning a visit and want to explore everything the area has to offer, the Osoyoos Activities and Osoyoos Attractions pages are a great place to start.

The market will be back. Keep an eye out.
