Session prices are set by the site host with FLO charging stations. FLO offers an app which can help you find stations that meet your desired spend. You might even find some free ones! Many of the charging stations across the FLO network adhere to a standardized rate guideline for a consistent customer experience across the country.
BC Hydro Charging Station Cost
BC Hydro provides a network of EV charging stations across British Columbia, offering various charging speeds to accommodate different needs. As of the latest information available, the prices are as follows:
Level 2 (up to 19kW): 3 cents per minute
Fast Charging (up to 25 kW): 12.11 cents per minute
Fast Charging (26 kW to 50 kW): 21.21 cents per minute
Fast Charging (51 kW to 100 kW): 27.25 cents per minute
Fast Charging (101 kW to 200 kW): 40 cents per minute

Sun Country Charging Station Cost
A majority of charging stations within the Sun Country Highway EV network offer free Level 2 charging for drivers across Canada. While it is possible to encounter paid stations, which are determined by private station owners, the charging stations located in Osoyoos are free.

How Long Does An EV Take To Charge?
Electric vehicle charge times are determined by many different factors, including your specific car model and the type of charging station you use during travel. Larger battery sizes and slower charging points will result in longer charging times.
EV charging stations are categorized into three levels. Levels 2 and 3 are the most common and often the fastest public charging options, located at hotels, destination centres or commercial parking spaces. Level 3 chargers can charge an EV’s battery to 80% in as little as 30 minutes, while a Level 2 charger typically takes a couple hours.
