kłlilx’w (Spotted Lake)
Known as Kliluk to the Indian Band, this lake is sacred and can easily be viewed from Hwy 3, eight kilometers west of Osoyoos. In the summer heat, the lake dries out, forming colourful mud circles. Each of these 365 rings is believed to have a different healing power. Spotted Lake has one of the world’s highest concentrations of minerals; calcium, magnesium and sodium sulphates.

Osoyoos Desert Centre
Learn about desert ecology, habitat restoration, and conservation of endangered ecosystems on a guided or self-guided tour at the Osoyoos Desert Centre. This outdoor interpretive facility, with a 1.5 km elevated wooden boardwalk is a unique destination that provides a closer look at the intricacies of the South Okanagan’s rich biodiversity.

Nk’Mip Cultural Centre
Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre allows their guests to fully immerse themselves within the culture and history of the Okanagan First Nations people. With two multi-sensory theatre experiences, outdoor exhibits and multiple dining options at a stones throw, Nk’Mip provides a fully rounded day for the entire family. Osoyoos & District Museum And Archives
Immerse yourself in community history at the Museum and Archives, home to over 4,000 pieces. Established in 1963, the Museum and Archives offers guided historical walking tours in the summer months, as well as private tours!

Osoyoos is home to two art galleries–the Okanagan Art Gallery and The Art Gallery Osoyoos, both featuring an extensive collection of local art pieces on display for community members and visitors alike!

Keremeos Grist Mill & Gardens
This historic site in Keremeos is home to spectacular gardens, including heritage flower and fruit varieties, meaning that the plants are the same as they were generations ago. Bring the whole family and check out their working 1877 waterwheel-powered flour mill. The Grist Mill also hosts weekly concerts throughout the summer!

Historic Haynes Ranch
Once the home of one of the region’s earliest settlers, the Historic Haynes Ranch stands as a rare example of 19th-century ranching life in the South Okanagan. Located near sẁiẁs Provincial Park, visitors can view the weathered wooden structures from a distance and imagine the pioneering days of cattle drives and frontier farming.

Osoyoos Lake

Rattlesnake Canyon

Splash BC (formerly Okanagan Wibit)
Located right on the boardwalk in front of Watermark Beach Resort, Splash BC is a must-visit attraction for families looking for some high-energy fun. This thrilling inflatable water park is available until late-August, offering a unique and exciting way to enjoy the beautiful Osoyoos Lake.

Splash Park at Jack Shaw Gardens
On the off-chance that your kids get tired of the awesome water slide at Watermark, Jack Shaw Gardens is another great Osoyoos water park to explore! It’s better than a sprinkler on the front lawn! Just be sure to reapply your sunscreen.

Anarchist Mountain
