‘SOURCED’ is a naturally constructed feast created by Aman Dosanj and The Paisley Notebook that is re-imagining what it means to eat, one edible story and pop up dinner at a time.
Join me for a day of edible storytelling on Saturday, August 3. Featuring a farm-to-table communal long table at Spirit Ridge Resort with a 4-course menu is inspired by connection to the land for Food Day Canada.
With Arrive at 4:00 PM for 4:30 PM start. The 4-course menu will feature all-Canadian ingredients to show how ‘Canada is Food’. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions (including vegetarian), please email email@example.com. This event features a set menu, which won’t be shared until each course is up (I like surprises). A little request is for you to contact Aman with allergies before purchasing tickets (please and thank you).
The other stuff:
Ticket price does not include gratuity or beverage
Wear farm appropriate footwear (we are dining in the desert with prickly things), sunscreen, a hat and possibly an umbrella
There will be a 10 minute walk to the table
The table will be positioned under a Ponderosa Pine Tree in the village for shade
SOURCED is all about the bigger picture and looking out for the planet – carpooling is a great shout and please bring a non-plastic water bottle filled with the Okanagan’s finest tap water for the walk to the table.
