The secret is out!
Now, all of Canada knows just how lucky we are to be in the South Okanagan.
Our region was the focus of a recent episode of the Rick Mercer Report. The charismatic TV personality visited in September, and got a little taste of Okanagan Life.
First stop for Rick Mercer was our very own Osoyoos! Our neighbours at the award-winning Nk’Mip Cellars got a chance to showcase their stunning vineyard views, charming winemaker, and delicious wines (right from the barrel).
The film crew’s visit to the Festival of the Grape was a particularly exciting one for everyone at Watermark, as we proudly sponsor this event each year.
At this popular Oliver wine party, Mercer got to celebrate in true Okanagan style: tasting samples from many of our more than 170 local wineries, joking with locals and visitors, and even participating in the Grape Stomp competition.
He may have gotten a little sticky, but we’re sure Mercer was glad to have jumped into the South Okanagan life with both feet!
