Each summer the Lake Osoyoos Sailing Club offers Learn to Sail courses, designed by the Canadian Yachting Association, for persons 10 years of age and older. The courses offered include White Sail 1, 2 and 3. Taught by a certified instructor, the courses take 15 hours to complete and are usually scheduled in three-hour daily lessons that run Monday to Friday. For those hesitant to sign up for a week's course, the club also offers a 3-hour Introduction to Sailing class that occurs concurrently with the courses, provided space is available.

After years of conservation efforts to restore the salmon stocks in the Okanagan River, Okanagan Nation alliance Fisheries are opening its boats to the public to take part in Eco-fishing tours. Come on board and discover the local First Nations knowledge of (N'tytyix) sockeye Salmon and hear Chaptik stories of the Lands, the Legends and the People.
Cost: $75/person - Each person gets to keep one fresh catch of the day!
Tours available from July 18th until August 31st, 2012.
