Ok, we’re a little bit biased, but we truly believe that Osoyoos is one of the best communities in Canada. The entire South Okanagan offers a friendly, neighbourly, and welcoming environment for all who visit and those who are lucky enough to call this place home. Halloween is a particularly fun time as local businesses get together to host a variety of events, offering fun for all ages.
For the Kids (and you too!)
Trick or Treat Main Street is a popular annual event in Osoyoos that caters to the young ones. Local businesses along Osoyoos’ Main Street, including Watermark Beach Resort, work together to create a safe and fun trick or treating environment. This year, Watermark Beach Resort will be hosting a cookie decorating table for Trick or Treat Main Street. In addition to the cookie and candy-loving fun, kids aged 13 and under can participate in a colouring contest, courtesy of Osoyoos Credit Union and Osoyoos Home Hardware. From noon to 2:00 PM, Osoyoos Credit Union will also be hosting a Halloween photo booth, courtesy of McLean Construction and Nikki Dawn Photography.
For the Family
The Sonora Community Centre is hosting a Halloween Howl on Saturday, October 31st. The centre will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland, complete with haunted house, games, prizes, and more. The Halloween Carnival will take place from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and the Haunted House will be open from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
For the Grown-Ups
Here at Watermark Beach Resort, we really love a good party or event. On Friday, October 30th, we are hosting a Halloween Howler Dance in our Vineyard Ballroom from 8:00 PM – 1:00 AM. Don your best costume and get ready to dance the night away. We will have a costume contest, prizes, light canapes, and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to help you celebrate the night right.
Special room rates are also available for the Halloween Howler, with suites starting from as low as $99. Tickets for the Halloween Howler are only $20 per person and are available via phone at 250-495-5500, email at catering@watermarkbeachresort.com or at our front desk.
